PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion of a seat which improves the comfortableness in the seat by preventing the fatigue of the buttocks and the thigh when one is seated on the seat for a long time, and preventing the impediment of the blood flow caused by the pressured knots of the ischial bone of the buttocks and glutei maximi in a lower part of trochanters. SOLUTION: A main part 23 of a cushion 21 consists of a lower pad material 26 and an upper pad material 27. The lower pad material 26 is so formed as to have at least 5 kgf/314 cm2 larger hardness than the upper pad material 27 in a 25% hardness test. The upper pad material 27 of the main part 23 is formed in the thickness of 20-30 mm. On the right and left sides of the lower pad material 26, a pair of flat and nearly U-shaped cutouts 31 extended in the back and forth direction are formed. The inner end in the width direction of each cutout 31 is positioned below each trochanter 17 which connects a knot 13 of the ischial bone of the buttocks 11 and each thighbone 15 of a seated person H. |
