PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DME storage device to contain and store dimethyl ether(DME) in a liquid state and easily take it out in a liquid state, and simplify constitution. SOLUTION: Upper and lower chambers 12 and 13 partitioned from each other by a vertically movable float 11 are formed in a main tank 2 and an inlet pipe 14 and an outlet pipe 15 for DME are caused to communicate with the upper chamber 12. A pressure sensor 17 is annexed to the main tank 2 and when a DME pressure in the upper chamber 12 is below a first given value, a pump 21 is operated to feed water W in an auxiliary tank 4 to the lower chamber 13 through a feed line 22. When the pressure of the water W in the lower chamber 13 exceeds a second given value higher than a first given value, a return valve 23 is opened and liquid in the lower chamber 13 is returned to the auxiliary tank 4 through a return line 24. This constitution leads out the DME in a liquid state from the upper chamber 12 through the outlet pipe 15.
