PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column which is used for synthesizing DNA and can be reused and whose volume can easily be changed. SOLUTION: A cap member 4 is formed in a shape that the cap member 4 can freely be attached to or detached from a cylindrical member 3. Thereby, after the synthesis of DNA is finished, the DNA can easily be taken out by separating the cap member 4 from the cylindrical member 3. The change in the volume of the column can sufficiently be achieved by adjusting the length of the cylindrical member 3.
