PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyethylene terephthalate having high fluidity when melted, and excellent in moldability, and further to provide a preform for a blow molded product and the blow molded product, obtained from the polyethylene terephthalate. SOLUTION: This polyethylene terephthalate satisfies the formula: Y>=647-500X [Y is the ratio (L/T) of a flow length (L) to a flow thickness (T) when molding the polyethylene terephthalate at 290 deg.C; X (dl/g) is an intrinsic viscosity of the molded product obtained by the injection molding].
