PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of water to be consumed with good operability of a conveyor type. SOLUTION: This dishwasher has a washing switch 33A which is disposed in a washing chamber 3 and is turned on and off by a rack 5 and a timer which measures the time after the rack 5 is carried into the chamber. A washing cycle operation is started by at least either one of the washing switch 33A or the timer.
