PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts feeder that is extremely easily and precisely adjustable in bowl vibrating conditions depending upon the type of part handled, and has a compact overall size, a light overall weight, low installation space requirement and a low noise level by virtue of a simplified drive mechanism. SOLUTION: A controllable acceleration stepping motor 21 is provided as the drive source of the drive mechanism 20 for vibrating a bowl 8 circumferentially. An eccentric shaft 23 rotated in normal and reverse directions by the stepping motor 21 creates exciting force. Only that vibration of the eccentric shaft 23 which is in the circumferential direction of the bowl 8 is transmitted to the bowl 8. Electrical control of the acceleration of the stepping motor 21 determines the vibrating conditions of the bowl 8 depending upon the type of part W.
