PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which prevents defects such as warpage and foaming and excels in reworkability. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 has a substrate 2 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 containing both a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a polyvinyl acetal. The polyvinyl acetal has a structure represented by the formula (wherein R is preferably a 1-10C aliphatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic hydrocarbon group). The weight average molecular weight of the polyvinyl acetal is preferably 10,000-500,000. The degree of acetalization of the polyvinyl acetal is preferably 50-95 mol%. The polyvinyl acetal is preferably incorporated in an amount of 1-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. pressure- sensitive adhesive.
