A mine sweeper, comprising a mine sweeping device (2) located at the front of a self-propelling vehicle (10), a laterally moving mechanism (5) moving the sweeping device (2) in lateral direction, a lifting mechanism (6) moving the sweeping device (2) in vertical direction, a position detector (7) detecting the position of the sweeping device (2), and a control device (8) controlling the operations of the laterally moving mechanism (5), lifting mechanism (6), and a hydraulic breaker (3) based on the data detected by the position detector (7), the sweeping device (2) further comprising a rod unit (4) with a plurality of rods (43) disposed on a plate (41) in parallel with each other and the hydraulic breaker (3) providing a downward impact to the rod unit (4), whereby a mine can be removed assuredly by destructing or exploding it regardless of the type or orientation of a buried mine or the state of the ground. |
