PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trashrack rake which can smoothly operate the rake while preventing the trash from being caught by the rake, a bottom part of a water passage, etc. SOLUTION: A guide frame 6 to guide a pair of endless chains 7 is provided on both sides of a screen 3 forward of the screen 3. A rake 5 stretched over the chains 7 is elevated along a front surface of the screen 3 by the traveling operation of the chains 7 to scrape the trash flowing and attaching to the screen 3. The guide frame 6 is pivotably attached in an oscillating manner by a pivot 17. When the trash is caught by the rake 5, the guide frame 6 is turned forward, the rake 5 is prevented from being locked, the guide frame 6 is returned when the trash is passed, and the rake 5 is engaged with the screen 3 again.
