PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a window regulator, by which a door glass can be closed completely under any state in a constitution in which a tape is used. SOLUTION: The length of a main tape 38 and a sub-tape 46 is adjusted so that the section of a door-glass upper end 24B on the sub-tape 46 side reaches the upper end of a glass sash body 26A earlier than a door-glass upper end 24A on the main tape 38 side-that is, the door-glass upper end 24B is lifted under the state in which the upper end of door glass 24 is lifted towards a rear section. The stretchability of the sub-tape 46 is made higher than that of the main tape 38. Thus, when door glass 24 is elevated gradually, the door- glass upper end 24B on the sub-tape 46 side reaches the upper end of the glass sash body 26A at an earlier time, and the sub-tape 46 is extended by lifting and the door-glass upper end 24A on the main tape 38 side reaches the upper end of the glass sash body 26A.
