PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve total cleaning performance by simultaneously improving the quantity of liquid and the intensity of pressure waves in a mat cleaning machine provided with a cylindrical runner having a rugged surface. SOLUTION: This cleaning machine cleans a mat M by pressure waves generated by the rotation of a runner 3 while conveying the at M along the outer peripheral surface of a casing 5. A large number of angular protruding parts 6 are provided on the surface of the runner 3 at spaces in a circumferential direction or the like, and the slant face of the protruding part 6 is formed in a curved face swollen onto the rotation axis side or a bent-flat or flat face. As the protruding parts 6, a plurality of support plates 25 projected radially outward are erected on the surface of a drum body 24 of the runner 3 at circumferentially equal spaces, and protruding part slant face forming plates 26 with circular arc faces swollen onto the rotation axis side are provided between the adjacent support plates 25.
