PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling house allowing change in size or layout of rooms and facilitating the changing work of the layout of rooms even by an amateur. SOLUTION: In this dwelling house, a large living space is arranged adjacently to an equipment space 4 comprising a bathroom 6, a toilet 6, and a kitchen 12 and provided so that the kitchen faces one side of the living space, and a central column 14 is arranged in the center part of the living space. A partition 16 extending at right angles from the central column 14 is arranged so as to surround the living space closer to the kitchen to provide one planer L-shaped wide living room 18 and one dining kitchen room 20. The partition 16 is formed of a movable partitioning wall consisting of a plurality of lined partitioning unit bodies or a movable partitioning housing part.
