PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposing device for an organic compound capable of efficiently decomposing the organic compound. SOLUTION: A UV light emitting part 11 of the decomposing device for the organic component having the eximer lamp 1 constituted by the UV light emitting part 11 and a supporting part 12 for supporting the UV light emitting part 11 is composed of a light emitting tube 16 which is liable to allow the transmission of UV rays and a protective tube 14. Inert gas is sealed between both and the outer periphery of the light emitting tube 16 is provided with an electrode 15. A cooling tube 20 is disposed apart a prescribed space in the light emitting tube 16 and sealing gas 19 forming excimer is sealed into the prescribed space between the light emitting tube 16 and the cooling tube 20.
