<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a set-up time by machining commonly using the same machining program even if the machining pass line of each pallet is different. SOLUTION: Using a laser beam machining device 1 equipped with a laser machining head which is freely movable three-dimensionally by the X axis in the front/rear direction, Y axis in the left/right direction, and Z axis in the up/down direction relative to a workpiece W, two dimensional laser machining by the X and Y axes is performed by means of a shuttle table 17 having pallets 19 and 21 of plural levels each freely movable in the horizontal direction. With the Z axis offset for the laser machining head 55 relative to the workpiece W which is set on the machining pass lines PL1 and PL2 of each pallet 19 and 21 of plural levels, positional difference in the Z axis direction is eliminated for the machining pass lines PL1, PL2 of each pallet 19 and 21, so that the workpiece W placed on each pallet 19 and 21 of plural levels is laser-machined with the same machining program.</p> |
