PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and accurately adjust the height position of a circular saw of a log paper cutter to reduce a production cost by labor reduction of an operator for adjusting a height position, and to improve an operation rate by automation of an adjustment. SOLUTION: This circular saw height adjusting device is composed of an arm vertically moving device 30 for rotatably holding a base end part of a rocking arm 21 for centrally holding a bearing of a rotary shaft 12 of a rotor arm 11 for installing a circular saw 14 in both end parts in a fixing position, movably supporting a tip part of the rocking arm in the vertical direction and automatically adjusting a height, a rocking device 40 for automatically controlling the possibility of a movement of the tip part of the rocking arm and a height control device for comprehensively controlling the rocking device and the arm vertically moving device.
