SOLUTION: A switch function S forms a function of a deviation between a target air-fuel ratio and an actual air-fuel ratio, and through sliding mode control using a nonlinear item calculated by integrating a value at which positive and negative of a gain 1 is reserved on a switch plane (S=0), feedback control of an air-fuel ratio is carried out.
