PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast button wherein a metal material can be partially fitted into the button of a synthetic resin or the like, on the surface of which patterns of natural materials can be formed, to form a variety of patterns such as pattern, letter, initial, mark, etc., on the surface thereof, and moreover deviation of the location of the metal material can be avoided. SOLUTION: In a mold wherein a core is set in a rubber mold to allow a molten metal to flow thereinto, a projection or a recess is provided at an unnoticeable location in the core, while a projection or recess are provided on the surface of the rubber mold so that each projection or recess in the core corresponds with each recess or projection on the rubber mold, respectively, whereby the core are prevented from moving in the mold against the pressure of the flow of the metal so that the molten metal flows into a gap between the mold and the desired design connected to the core.
