PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the security against trouble of operation of hardware and software by preventing a reader/writer for IC card from having trouble and speedily restoring the reader/writer even in case of trouble and to obtain the sure security against the illegal act that an IC card is illegally used by stealing and deciphering a password matching function by using a security reader/writer alone or the IC card and reader/writer in combination. SOLUTION: This security reader/writer 10 has a sensing function, a CPU, and a memory function which can not be applied ordinary in the industry since the manufacture cost of the reader/writer rises and is then provided with an external communication function for security which was not employed because of high communication charge, so that the purpose is attained not by the reader/ writer along, but by a combination with an external system 9. |
