PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet friction test apparatus such that a single apparatus can conduct plural kinds of friction tests. SOLUTION: The wet friction test apparatus includes: a test vessel 18; a test shaft 6 movable relative to the test vessel 18; a load mechanism (air piston) 10 capable of applying load in the direction of the test vessel 18 to the test shaft 6; a drive mechanism 21 having a driving motor 1 and a gear box 3 and detachably connected to the test shaft 6 via a clutch 5; and a torque sensing mechanism 14 (torque sensing load) provided for the test vessel 18.
