PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost by constituting a feeder fitted to simplification, miniaturizing, and lightening. SOLUTION: This feeder, which is used for a continuously variable transmission having a main driving side V-groove pulley 3 and a driven side V-groove pulley 4 forming V grooves 6, 7 of respective fixed flanges 8, 10 and movable flanges 9, 11 and having a V belt 5 wound across the driving and driven pulleys, and axially slides the movable flange of the main driving side V-groove pulley so as to vary the winding diameters of the belt to the both pulleys, is provided with a fixed annulus 20 fixedly arranged coaxially with the main driving side V-groove pulley and having a spiral groove 27 in its outer circumference, a movable annulus 21 arranged in the outer circumference of the fixed annulus and having a spiral groove 31 in its inner circumference, a plurality of balls 34 interposed between respective spiral grooves of the movable annulus and the fixed annulus, and a plurality of pockets 35 holding the respective balls in the non-separated states for the constitution having an annulus ring-shaped holder 28.
