PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image recording device so as to make lowering of printing speed prevented by reducing the waiting time even when a recording instruction of forming the color image and the monochrome image at respectively different speed for printing. SOLUTION: When a recording instruction indicating monochrome print after completion of the given color print, this device transports recording medium S at speed of two times with respect to the speed at the time of color printing to the image forming part 2K for the black image, to reduce a speed to the same transporting speed at the time of color printing again, at the time point when the recording medium S reaches the image forming part 2K of the black image, and at the time point when the image data of a portion of the first 1 line are transmitted to a LED head 3K. |
