COLOR FILTER WITH SPACER, ITS PRODUCTION AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE USING THAT COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a spacer of desired height at a low cost without influencing a display region. SOLUTION: A black matrix 2, a color layer consisting of a colored part 9 and a non-colored part 5, a protective layer 10, and a transparent conductive film 11 are formed on a transparent substrate 1. Then a foaming resin composition 13 is applied through an ink jet head 12 on the transparent conductive film 11 in the region overlapped with the black matrix 2, then foamed and hardened to form a spacer 14.
