PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimping connector, where a crimping terminal is hard to be pulled out and a coated electric wire is hard to be pulled out of the crimping connector. SOLUTION: A crimping connector 20 comprises a housing 21 having terminal storing grooves 23, and press connection terminals 22 which are stored in the terminal storing grooves 23 and in which coated electric wires are press inserted. The press connection terminal 22 comprises a contact part 28 and an electric wire connection part 29. The electric wire connection part 29 has a bottom plate 30 and a pair of facing side plates 31. A press connection plate 37 which is bent inwardly is provided to each of the side plates 31. After the press connection plate 37 is bent and shaped, an opening 38 is formed on the side plate 31. A projection 26 for a stopper which projects from a sidewall 24 of the terminal storing groove 23 is engaged with the opening 38. In such a construction, the press connection terminal 22 is supported firmly by the housing 21, the press connecting plates 37 which have been bent and shaped can strongly hold the coated electrical wire, without being separated from each other by more than a prescribed interval in the regulation of the sidewall 24.
