PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem that the assembling operability becomes worse and the cost increases owing to increase in the number of components in a constitution wherein a roll provided to an optical element is pressed against a one-surface cam formed on a cam cylinder by a roll press ring. SOLUTION: The optical element driving device rotates a cam cylinder 1 around an optical axis and drives optical elements 4, 5, and 6 along the optical axis by a cam surface which is formed on the inner peripheral side of the cam cylinder and faces in the optical axis direction; and 1st cam surfaces 11a, 11b, and 11c which face in one direction of the optical axis are formed in a specific phase range in the circumferential direction of the cam cylinder and 2nd cam surfaces 12a, 12b, and 12c which face in the other optical-axis direction are formed in a phase range different from the mentioned specific phase range to drive the optical elements by those 1st and 2nd cam surfaces.
