PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal of caller number notice function selection type with an excellent privacy security function by which a user can select whether a caller number notice function or a caller number unnoticed function independently of a type of analog line. SOLUTION: The communication terminal is provided with a noticed/unnoticed setting changeover function 7 that selects whether or not a noticed specific number '186'/unnoticed specific number '184' is automatically added to a head of a destination telephone number in response to the selection of a caller number noticed setting/ unnoticed setting, a noticed setting/unnoticed setting temporary selecting function 8 that temporarily selects either of the caller number noticed setting/unnoticed setting, a noticed setting/unnoticed setting specific number transmission function 9 that transmits the noticed specific number '186'/unnoticed specific number '184' to a network before transmitting the destination telephone number of the network, and a notice state display function 6 or the like that informs the user about whether or not the current notice state is the caller number noticed setting/unnoticed setting. The user can select either of the caller number noticed state and the caller number unnoticed state independently of whether the connected analog line is an unnoticed line by each speech or an unnoticed line by each line.
