PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler lens which is high and uniform in light diffusivity and light transparency and has a filler layer superior in light transparency when compared with the conventional light diffuser consisting of double layers and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The filler lens is manufactured by forming the filler layer by laminating a binder layer directly or via another layer on a base material and embedding fillers in the filler layer by using spherical pressurization media in such a manner that the standard deviation of the inter-particle distances of the fillers in a surface direction is confined to <=0.4 and that the fillers protrude partly from the surface of the binder layer, then removing the excess fillers sticking to this laminate. |
