PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect and indicate present position in navigation using a plurality of moving forms including not only vehicles but railway and walk. SOLUTION: A navigation controller 24 searches a route leading to a destination from the present position and indicates it on a display 28. In the case that the moving form is a vehicle, the navigation controller 24 corrects the detected present position by using well-known map matching(MM) and indicates on the display 28. In the case the moving form is a railway, the navigation controller 24 performs the map matching to correct the present position by using only railway data. In the case the moving form is only walk, it performs the map matching to correct the present position by using data for walk. In the case of moving by railway, the navigation controller 24 performs map matching based on the railway operation schedule. |
