PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanking apparatus of an electrode for a battery for blanking high-quality electrodes for a battery with high yield and high productivity. SOLUTION: A blanking apparatus of an electrode for a battery comprises a first mold 5 having a punch 1 for blanking, whose outline is worked in a prescribed dimension and a shape, a first pedestal part 2 which supports the punch 1 for blanking, and a stripper plate 3 which is elastically supported by the first pedestal part 2 and is arranged, so as to freely advance and retreat on an outer circumferencial area of the punch 1 for blanking, and a second mold 10 having a die 6 whose inner shape is worked to dimensions and a shape such as to match with the punch 1 for blanking of the first mold 5 with a clearance of 2 to 5 micron meters therebetween, a second pedestal part 7 which supports the die 6, and a knock out 8 which is elastically supported by the die 6 and is arranged to advance and retreat freely on an inner circumferencial area of the die 6 with facing the punch 1 for blanking.
