PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the movement of an object of movement such as a person carrying a communication apparatus to a location. SOLUTION: The navigation device to search for a route to a set destination and perform guidance is provided with an input means 1 for inputting a telephone number to a communication apparatus carried by an object of movement, a transmitting/receiving means 5 to automatically transmit to the communication apparatus to which the telephone number is inputted and to receive a response signal from the communication apparatus, a location detecting means 4 to detect the location of the object of movement from the received response signal, and a destination setting means 4 to set the location detected by the location detecting means as a destination.
