PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-assist bicycle tire containing a sealant of excellent sealing ability, which can be filled with air by an existing bicycle pump and an air valve thereof. SOLUTION: A tube 52 includes a partition 55 dividing the interior surrounded with a peripheral wall 54 into two parts, an air chamber 53 having a substantially circular section, which is surrounded with an air chamber peripheral wall 41 and the partition 55, is filled with air, and a sealant chamber 57 having a substantially circular-arc, which is surrounded with a sealant chamber peripheral wall 40 and the partition 55 is filled with a known liquid sealant 58. Main components of this air valve system 6 are an air valve 60 of such as American type valve structure, which is superior to air tightness than a British valve, and incompatible with an air pump for the British valve and a cap-like adapter 61 which is screwed in the tip of the air valve 60 to enable the use of the air valve for the British valve.
