<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system that can enhance the processing speed in the case that compressed image data are printed with division. SOLUTION: An image decoding section 14 decodes compressed image data in compliance with the JPEG form according to a prescribed algorithm. When the compressed image data are decoded, a reproduction cache control section 19 acquires a block read address and a specific DC component as to a block stream of a prescribed value and stores them to a cache table 20 as cache data. In the case of printing other divided print face, only data of an area going to be printed are partially decoded on the basis of the cache data having already been acquired. Thus, every time each divided print part is printed, it is not required to decode the compressed image data from the head and the system can conduct division print at a high-speed.</p> |
