PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable reel to offer an excellent heat resistance by giving heat resistance to an optical rotary joint. SOLUTION: Relating to a cable reel, power transmission line 12 and optical signal transmission line 13 thereof being reeled and comprising a slip ring 6, which electrically connects outside power transmission wiring with the power transmission line 12, and an optical rotary joint 7, which optically connects outside light signal transmission wiring with the light signal transmission line 13, the optical rotary joint 7 is accommodated in a heatproof box 9.
