METHOD OF PRODUCING LOW-EXPANSION FOAM FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHING

fire fighting, particularly, methods of preparation of low-expansion foam. SUBSTANCE: method may be used in sublayer fire extinguishing in which foam is supplied to under layer of burning liquid. The method includes supply of gas and jet of foaming solution under pressure to entrap gas and to mix them. Pressure drop in obtained mixture is produced to value larger than counterpressure of burning liquid. Then obtained mixture is additionally mixed in flow under this pressure. During mixing, additional ejection of gas is possible by flow of partially formed mixture. EFFECT: higher efficiency of foam generation in sublayer fire extinguishing. 2 dwg
