The transceiver stations (3) are able to communicate both, within their transceiver range (4), with terminals (5), as well as with each other or with an external network. Thus they support the connection of terminals to each other, or with links of the external network. For each mobile terminal the installation contains a memory spot, which contains an indication in which transceiver range the terminal is located. There are indicators for the content of each memory spot. To all transceivers is coupled the central exchange (1), to which the memory spots are allocated.
