PURPOSE: Provided a method for recovering errors of a cash dispenser(CD) for preventing discrepancy in the sum of money, caused by a sending/receiving errors occurred while using CD and errors while withdrawing money. CONSTITUTION: The method for recovering errors of CD comprises: (a) process for withdrawing money if a user sends a withdrawal message to the host and receives a reply message from the host; (b) a process for withdrawing money by determining whether or not renewing host data base if the user receives no reply, thus send an inquiry message to the host then receives a reply message for the inquiry; (c) a process for recovering host data base, if no answer from the host, by sending a cancellation message when a communication error is recovered; and (d) a process for recovering the host data base, if an error is created while withdrawing money, by sending a cancellation message to the host when the error is recovered.
