<p>An optimum identification point is automatically set to improve the convenience. Photoelectric transducing means (11) transduces an optical signal to an electric signal. Optical amplifier detecting means (12) detects whether or not an optical amplifier (3) is disposed at the front stage of the photoelectric transducing means (11). On the basis of the detection result, identification point optimization control means (13) sets an optimum identification position of the identification point adaptably so that the degradation of S/N is minimum. Optimum identification reproducing means (14) performs identification reproduction of the electric signal at the optimum identification point.</p> |
