The invention relates to alkyl-amino-1,3,5-triazines, to a method for producing them and to their use as herbicides and as plant growth regulators . Compounds of formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and A have the meanings given in claim n~1, and their salts are suitable for use as herbicides and plant growth regulators. Said compounds of formula (I) are produced according to the method provided in claim n~8.
