PURPOSE:To transmit electrically a picture information by a general telephone circuit by executing an interpolation to a desired partial signal, basing on a trimming position information and a size information on a reproduced picture. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is provided with a horizontal trimming circuit containing an A/D converter 207 to a horizontal scanning signal, an RAM28, a horizontal interpolating circuit 212 and an operation controlling circuit 203, a vertical trimming circuit 204 containing RAMs 213-215 for processing a signal after a horizontal interpolation, a vertical interpolating circuit 224 and an operation controlling circuit 205, and a circuit 225 for controlling a trimming in the horizontal/vertical directions and an electric transmission timing. In this state, a cursor for showing a position and size of the trimming is superposed on the reproduced picture displayed on a monitor CRT, and by use of its position information and size information, a desired partial signal is extracted from a reproduced still picture signal, and it is interpolated in both horizontal and vertical directions. A converting signal obtained in this way is sent out to a telephone circuit through a transmission output part 300. |
