PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, in which top dross in a seal box can be discharged without rising (opening) the seal box for preventing the dross inclusion and the dripped mark of metal coating. SOLUTION: A steel sheet guided to a sink roll in a hot-dipping metal coating bath vessel, is introduced upward and nozzle headers for gas wiping are faced while interposing the steel sheet. The seal box covering these nozzle headers is arranged and a guide rail is hung down from the lower surfaces of the nozzle headers, and a carriage is reciprocatively arranged to the guide rail with a carriage shifting rod and a carriage shifting arm. Further, in the carriage, a scraping plate is arranged so as to be freely turned, and at the upper part of the scraping plate, a lever part is projectively arranged and a scraping plate working part is engaged with the lever part of the scraping plate. In this scraping plate working part, a working rod guide member is arranged on the upper surface of the carriage and a working rod slidingly penetrating the member is energized to the reverse scraping plate side through a spring receiver and a compressive spring and a working lever engaged with the end part of the working rod is arranged in the carriage shifting arm.
