PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To slice food in large quantities in a short time with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this rotary slicer, a food push-in drum 2 comprising a large number of rotary plates 5 disposed at prescribed intervals and a slicing part 4 comprising a large number of blade members 30 disposed at prescribed intervals are oppositely disposed such that the rotary plates 5 and the blade members 30 are partially overlapped and are alternately disposed, while a housing part 11 housing food is provided around the food push-in drum 2. By rotating the food push-in drum 2 with the food housed in the housing part 11, the food abuts on the blade members 30 of the slicing part 4 and is sliced by the blade members 30.
