PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die for a housing capable of effectively implementing a gas assist injection molding method without revealing eyes on the outside face of the housing. SOLUTION: This molding die 10 for the housing 1 an outside mirror integrally formed by a gas assist injection molding method is provided with a gas injection hole 12 and a resin injection gate 13 opened on a cavity 11 for molding the housing 1 at the portions in the molding die 10 corresponding to both the right and left portion along the longitudinal direction L of the housing 1 respectively. The peripheral section of the portion corresponding to the resin injection gate 13 is formed with only a resin solid section, therefore the transfer rate is made homogenous, and the revelation of eyes on the surface of the housing 1 can be prevented.
