PARTS ASSEMBLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain quick and accurate positioning of parts with a parts assembling device by using a measurement table applying the picture processing to perform positioning of each half of parts. CONSTITUTION:A head chip m2 and a substrate m1 are set to a measurement table (a) and a measurement table (a') respectively. Then these chip and substrate are picked up its image by TV cameras 20 and 20' while driving X axis tables 12 and 12', Y axis tables 13 and 13' and Z axis tables 14 and 14' respectively. A picture processor C detects the center of each assembling part and the edge arrangement. The tables 12 and 12', 13 and 13' and axis tables 11 and 11' are driven to set said center and arrangement in accordance with the set arangement. A post (b) is turned by 180 deg. to put the chip m2 and the substrate m1 together after the chip m2 is sucked and held by a holding tool 2 of an action arm 1.
