PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently exchange a bobbin in changing a sewing pattern and to reduce a storage space for a bobbin rack used for exchanging the bobbin so as to facilitate management. SOLUTION: In a multicolor and multihead type embroidery machine, a bobbin setting part 11 provided with bobbin stands for supporting a plurality of bobbins is arranged in the back of a plurality of head parts having a plurality of embroidery needles individually, an upper guide part 23 is arranged in the upper part of the bobbin setting part 11, and front guide parts each guiding an embroidery thread to each embroidery needle from the upper guide part 23 are arranged in the head part upper parts. In this embroidery machine, the number of embroidery needles in each head part are divided, and a plurality of sectioned bobbin bases 12 having the divided number of bobbin stands 13 are arranged in parallel in each of the bobbin setting part 11, while a part or the whole of the sectioned bobbin bases 12 is/are constructed freely removably.
