PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massaging apparatus wherein strength and weakness of massaging can be changed by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: In a massaging apparatus wherein a therapeutic element 8 is actuated by rotating a driving cam 6 fitted on a rotating shaft 3 rotatably driven by means of a motor 5 driving the rotating shaft 3, rotating position of the driving cam 6 is detected by means of a rotating position detecting plate 12 and a sensor 13 and, when a position of the driving cam 6 where force is most applied on a therapeutic site S is detected, rotation of the driving cam 6 is stopped for a specified time. It is possible to provided strength and weakness of the massaging based on this stopping time, i.e., it is possible to adjust strength of the massaging by making the stopping time of the rotation of this driving cam 6 variable.
