PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial bearing device having long life, no scattering of lubricant, and no dirt by sufficiently applying lubrication to a oil retaining bearings arranged one above the other. SOLUTION: Radial oil retaining bearings 5, 6 are arranged on the upper and lower parts of a rotor shaft 10, a lubricant sump is formed on the upper part of the lower radial oil retaining bearing 6, capillary members 21, 22 for communicating the lubricant sump and the upper radial oil retaining bearing 5 with each other are provided, and lubricant is replenished to the upper radial bearing 5 through the capillary member 21. |
