PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging fitting for a frame for a bathroom unit, the fitting being locked or fixed to a foundation or sleeper to support a horizontal member on which the bathroom unit is placed, and having a curved simple construction and few welds. SOLUTION: This hanging fitting is locked or fixed to a foundation or sleeper to support a horizontal member on which a bathroom unit is placed. The upper end of a steel plate is bent outwardly to provide a hook piece and the lower end of the steel plate is bent inwardly to provide a support piece for supporting the horizontal member. Vertical ribs extending from the hook piece to the support piece are formed in the fitting by bending the steel plate.
