PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium not only recording a highly precise image with good reproducibility but also having sufficient surface strength as an office sheet and no paper chip generated when conveyed in a printer. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording medium comprising an ink receiving layer containing a noncrystalline silica having a mean particle size of 2 to 10 μm and an adhesive on a support, the layer contains polymer fine particles having a mean particle size of 3 to 40 μm. |
