PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up unit of an automatic winder allowing individual assembling of a yarn replacing device, yarn splicing device and takeup device and of moving the splicing device and/or takeup device to the maintenance and inspection position without moving the yarn replacing device. SOLUTION: This take-up unit 14 of an automatic winder 11 has arranged separable into a lower part 21 a frame 20 of equipped with a yarn replacing device 17, a middle part 22 equipped with a yarn splicing device 18, and an upper part 23 equipped with a takeup device 19, wherein the middle part 23 and upper part 23 are coupled together by bolt 25 separably and the middle part 22 is pivoted on the lower part 21 movably so that the middle part 22 is movable together with the upper part 23 from the takeup motion position A to the maintenance and inspection position C.
