PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector for a prefilled syringe wherein the breakage of a flange section of an external cylinder is extremely rare even when a material, having characteristics being preferable for the external cylinder of the injector for the prefilled syringe, is selected for the external cylinder. SOLUTION: This injector 10 for a prefilled syringe is equipped with an external cylinder 11, and a gasket 13 which is sildably housed in the external cylinder 11. The external cylinder 11 is equipped with an external cylinder body section 11a, an injector needle-attaching section 25 which is provided at the tip end of the external cylinder body section 11a. The external cylinder 11 is also equipped with a flat plate-shape flange 26 which is provided at the rear end section of the external cylinder body section 11a, and protrudes in the approx. vertical direction to the central axis of the body section 11a. The flange 26 is equipped with two grip sections 31a and 31b which are confronted with each other. In addition, respective grip sections are equipped with ribs 32 which extend from the external cylinder body section 11a to the end sections of the grip sections. |
