PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an iodonium salt compound scarcely coloring the iodonium salt compound, capable of being readily synthesized in high yield, sensitive to irradiation of active energy rays such as light, electron beams or X radiation with a high sensitivity, having a high solubility in monomers and low toxicity and a photo-setting composition curable in a short time though a counteranion is a hexafluorophosphate, a tetrafluoroborate, etc., or the composition is a clear-based or a pigment-based and having excellent physical properties of a cured product. SOLUTION: This photo-setting composition is prepared by compounding an iodonium salt compound is represented by general formula [I], a cationic polymerizable compound, a sensitizer, etc.
